Distillates are highly concentrated oils or resins from plants, which often already contain dominant components. There are many techniques to distill natural material.

From simple distillation, through fractional column distillation to vacuum or wiped-film systems. Resinous distillates are rather high-boiling viscous liquids which must be distilled under high-performance vacuum and temperature.

They often solidify or crystallize on standing. Within our scope, mostly hemp resins are thus obtained.
